Lake Ontario is used for our drinking water in the GTA! Every time you turn on a tap in your home, water from Lake Ontario rushes out. Part of our current project, Youth and Community Greening in the Rouge Watershed, works towards strengthening the aquatic health of the Rouge National Urban Park and watershed. Planting trees and cleaning litter offsets pollution in the watershed, which improves water quality downstream in Lake Ontario.
