Wildlife in the Rouge
Spring 2019 Planting Season
World Wildlife Fund 2018 Fall Planting

Our ecological restoration and education work in the Rouge Watershed help us achieve two things:

1. To breathe life back to natural areas that have once been destroyed or altered by human involvement.
2. To share good news stories with the public and provide them with the knowledge to be environmental leaders in their own communities.

Below are some photos of these good news stories. Since 1991, Friends of the Rouge and its many cross-sectoral partners have transformed barren, uninhabitable land into flourishing ecosystems, now home to thousands of plant and animal species.
